Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide a software engineering team in building cloud-native applications and mentoring engineers. You’ll champion Agile practices, design scalable architectures, and ensure high-quality delivery across frontend, backend, and cloud integrations.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and modern cloud tools (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) within a hybrid Chicago-based office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of software development experience with Agile methodologies.
• Minimum of 3 years in leading and mentoring a team of developers.
• Proven experience with PaaS solutions and cloud development in a PaaS environment.
• 5+ years experience with REACT and .NET C# programming languages.
• Experience with designing and launching applications end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of full-stack development processes.
• Experience with SQL Server or similar databases.
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities
