Job summary

ANA is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer for Energy Systems Verification to join our onsite team in Henderson, NV. You will own test definition, execution, and infrastructure for generators, hybrids, and load banks, aligned with edge and cloud monitoring platforms.

You’ll collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams to translate requirements into verifiable tests, enabling safe, compliant releases and fast feedback loops in a fast-growing energy solutions business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 5-10 years of software testing experience with leadership.
• 3+ years testing hybrid energy systems.
• Proficient with embedded Linux, Docker, Python, Modbus TCP/RTU, CANbus.
• Proficient testing RESTful APIs using Python/pytest.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Hands-on verification of hardware-backed systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute verification plans for energy systems and software.
• Build bench, simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop setups.
• Integrate testing with load banks, CAN logic analyzers, meters, and test equipment.
• Validate data integrity across dashboards, reports, and notifications.
• Maintain traceability from requirements to results for safety/compliance.
• Own test configuration, equipment, and lab space.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to set test objectives and schedules.
• Mentor junior test engineers and drive a collaborative culture.
