Job summary

Atlas is seeking a hands-on, senior technical leader to architect, deploy, and manage our cloud and hybrid infrastructure. You will direct a team of Cloud, Network, and Systems Administrators, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available services across Azure and AWS.

You will shape cloud strategy, drive ITIL/ITSM practices, and support NIST 800-171 compliance, while leading modernization efforts and DevOps adoption to boost efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience including at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on cloud/hybrid environments.
• Experience managing both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP, including networking, identity, and security components.
• Proficiency with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience supporting IT compliance initiatives and implementing technical controls (NIST 800-171, CIS, ISO).
• Proven success leading infrastructure teams and driving technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong background in cost analysis, vendor negotiation, and budgeting for cloud and network services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Administrators, Network Administrators, and Systems Administrators.
• Architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions (Azure/AWS) with high availability and security.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve performance and reliability.
• Design and maintain secure network architectures including cloud networking, SD-WAN, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Oversee cost analysis, procurement, and optimization of cloud services and related contracts.
• Collaborate with CIO and executives to align infrastructure with business goals.
