Job summary

Atlas Group is hiring a Cloud Operations Engineer to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of Azure, M365, and hybrid cloud infra. You will push toward infrastructure as code, build automated pipelines, and enforce federal-style compliance with governance and monitoring.

You will implement IaC with Terraform/Bicep/ARM, automate with PowerShell/Azure CLI/Python, and manage secure networking, permissions, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct Cloud Operations experience with Azure.
• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, networking, or systems engineering.
• Automation experience with production-grade scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Hands-on with IaC using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Experience with cloud networking, security groups, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience applying zero-trust principles and least-privilege in practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage IaC, author and deploy Azure resources for consistent environments.
• Automate operations, write reliable scripts to reduce manual tasks.
• Maintain configuration management across VMs and services.
• Monitor costs and optimize cloud spend with Azure tools.
• Configure secure, compliant, high-availability networks and gateways.
• Support enterprise deployments of Azure Virtual Desktop and Exchange Online.
