Job summary

SMASH is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to deliver advanced cloud and infrastructure solutions in a Professional Services setup. The role is customer-facing and acts as a final escalation point for complex cloud, network, endpoint, identity, and infrastructure issues.

The ideal candidate has deep experience across the Microsoft ecosystem—Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and hybrid environments—along with networking, virtualization, security, Infrastructure as Code, and MSP

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure and cloud support experience.
• 5+ years of escalation-level MSP experience.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong networking, virtualization, security, and IaC skills.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell or Azure CLI.

Responsibilities

• Act as final escalation point for complex cloud, network, and infrastructure issues.
• Plan and execute cloud deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Architect and support Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and tenant environments.
• Design and manage Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA.
• Configure Intune/Autopilot for endpoint management.
• Manage Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, and edge workloads.
• Troubleshoot VMware/Hyper‑V and L2/L3 network issues.
• Support security programs including Defender XDR and Sentinel.
• Maintain IaC with Terraform/Bicep/Azure CLI and version control.
