Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Cloud Engineer in Florida to deploy, provision, harden, and optimize cloud infrastructure for clients and internal operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement IaC, CI/CD, run security and IAM controls, and develop scripts to automate provisioning and configuration. Strong scripting, cloud certification, and Windows/Linux admin experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• CSP Associate level cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud).
• Professional level certification a plus.
• 8-15 years of IT experience with a mix of cloud and IT operations.
• 3-4 years of cloud engineering experience with vendor platforms.
• 4+ years of experience debugging Windows or Linux OS in admin/support/engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy cloud services at scale for clients and provisioning of hosts.
• Define network, storage, and compute design specs for secure cloud ops.
• Manage cloud services: IAM, Security Groups, and CSP native services.
• Use IaC, CI/CD, and architecture reviews to manage cloud infrastructure.
• Develop scripts and templates for provisioning and configuration.
• Transform high-level requirements into technical specifications.
• Review deployment requirements with teams and client services for support.
• Create documentation for cloud best practices and infrastructure.
• Serve as liaison with clients to ensure needs are met.
• Identify and plan potential new cloud services and features.
