Job summary

RiVidium Inc. seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and manage secure, scalable cloud-based systems in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This role bridges traditional IT with modern cloud solutions to enable mission-focused outcomes.

The candidate will design architectures, implement secure, scalable solutions, and oversee operations with emphasis on cost efficiency and security. DoD RMF/NIST frameworks experience and VMware/AWS/Azure expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience with current and emerging technologies
• Proven experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware) and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong knowledge of cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and analytics
• Experience with network security, IdAM, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, NIST)
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs)
• RBAC, networking, firewalls knowledge
• IdAM technologies such as Active Directory, MIM, LDAP, and cloud-based identity
• PowerShell scripting and IaC methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; additional years may substitute for degree

Responsibilities

• Design and define cloud architectures for new and existing systems and services
• Implement and manage scalable, secure solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and event-driven architectures
• Oversee day-to-day cloud operations for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Establish secure cloud interconnects between on-premises and cloud environments
• Implement security controls and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues with minimal disruption
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, scalability, and security
• Align cloud solutions with mission objectives and organizational requirements
