Job summary

Quevera is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer to lead secure cloud initiatives for a DoD program in Maryland. You will design and secure hybrid cloud solutions, align with SCCA standards, and guide migrations while ensuring compliance and risk management.

The role requires an Active Secret clearance, IAM Level III certification, and 10+ years of enterprise IT experience in DoD contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and 10+ years of IT experience.
• IAM Level III certification is required.
• 10+ years of experience in DoD/large enterprise IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME in secure cloud infrastructure, including hybrid clouds.
• Design and assess cloud solutions per Secure Cloud Computing Architecture standards.
• Develop technical requirements and contribute to XaaS specifications.
• Support acquisition documents, white papers, and executive briefings.
• Ensure cloud security via IAM, encryption, and data protection measures.
• Conduct vulnerability monitoring and security assessments per DoD standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure enterprise-wide.
• Support application migration efforts with infrastructure expertise.
