Job summary

Railhead, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Engineer III to design, implement, and sustain enterprise cloud solutions across AWS and Azure for the Defense Enclave Services program.

The role requires advanced troubleshooting, architectural input, and technical leadership in a DoD environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation), automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines, along with familiar Cloud security principles and federal compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with substantial cloud engineering experience.
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions (AWS/Azure).
Experience with IaC tools and automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and IAM concepts.
Knowledge of DoD/Federal cybersecurity frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure.
Deploy IaC solutions and automate deployment workflows.
Support cloud modernization and migration of on‑prem services to cloud.
Troubleshoot Tier 3 cloud issues across networking, identity, and apps.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet enterprise standards.
