Job summary

National Life Group is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Cloud & Identity to secure our Azure-based environment and identity platforms. This onsite role focuses on Entra ID, AD, MFA, and device management, with four core onsite days weekly in Addison, TX.

You will work with Security, Infrastructure, and Audit teams to strengthen security posture and deliver reliable access for users while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in related cybersecurity roles or equivalent.
• Experience securing Microsoft Azure cloud environments and cloud security controls.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 security.
• Experience configuring Entra CA policies and MFA implementations.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, administer, and maintain security controls across Azure and related cloud services.
• Administer and enhance IAM across Entra ID and AD.
• Implement privileged access management controls to protect elevated access.
• Configure and support authentication and multi-factor authentication controls.
• Configure Entra Conditional Access policies to enforce access requirements.
• Maintain endpoint security via Intune and security configurations in Microsoft 365.
• Lead technical initiatives and provide mentorship to peers.
• Develop technical documentation and security standards.
