Job summary

National Life Group is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Cloud & Identity to ensure secure, reliable cloud infrastructure and security platforms. The role focuses on Azure, Entra ID, AD, Intune, and 365 with emphasis on identity and privileged access controls.

The position requires deep cloud-security expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with multiple teams to strengthen security posture. Onsite four days a week during core days; schedule subject to change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience or advanced degree and 5+ years or 12+ years total experience.
• Experience securing Microsoft Azure cloud environments and implementing cloud security controls.
• Hands-on experience securing Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Experience configuring Entra Conditional Access policies and MFA.
• Experience designing and maintaining security controls in enterprise environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex cloud/identity security issues.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, administer, and maintain security controls across Microsoft Azure and related cloud services.
• Administer identity and access management across Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Implement and maintain privileged access management controls.
• Configure and support authentication and MFA controls.
• Configure Entra Conditional Access policies to enforce access requirements.
• Maintain endpoint and device security controls via Microsoft Intune.
• Configure and support security controls within Microsoft 365.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and security standards.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor peers.
