Job summary

National Life Group is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Cloud & Identity to safeguard cloud infrastructure and security platforms. You will manage Azure, Entra ID, AD, Intune, and 365 with emphasis on identity, privileged access, device management, authentication and related controls.

The role requires deep cloud-security expertise, independent work within policies, and collaboration with Security, Infrastructure, and Audit teams to strengthen security posture.

Qualifications

• Experience securing Microsoft Azure cloud environments with implemented security controls.
• Hands-on experience securing Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 controls.
• Experience configuring MFA and Entra Conditional Access policies.
• Designing and implementing security controls in enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical skills to address cloud and identity security issues.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, administer, and maintain security controls across Microsoft Azure and related cloud services.
• Administer and enhance identity and access management across Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Implement and maintain privileged access management controls.
• Configure and support authentication and MFA controls.
• Configure Entra Conditional Access policies to enforce access requirements.
• Maintain endpoint/security controls via Microsoft Intune.
• Configure and support security controls within Microsoft 365.
• Design and enhance cloud security controls aligned with security requirements.
• Analyze complex cloud and identity security issues and remediate.
• Lead areas of technical accountability for cloud and identity security.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and set short-term goals.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Audit, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards.
