Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Cloud Engineering & FinOps to help build and optimize enterprise cloud onboarding and FinOps tooling. You will contribute to a modern platform built with Next.js (frontend) and Go (backend), delivering cost visibility, optimization recommendations, and seamless chargeback capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering with cloud-native focus.
• Proficiency in Next.js/React and Go backend services.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build FinOps tooling and cloud onboarding experiences for GM's enterprise cloud.
• Develop Cloud Onboarding and FinOps Portal using Next.js and Go.
• Design scalable cloud-native services and cost visibility workflows.
• Lead technical decisions and conduct code reviews.
