Job summary

Hasbro, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps Platform Engineer to lead cost management across our cloud platform. You will drive cost allocation, visibility, and optimization across environments, embedding FinOps practices into foundations, guardrails, and automation.

You will partner with engineering to enable cost transparency, create scalable patterns, and deliver measurable savings while reducing operational overhead. This role sits at the platform level with cross-team impact.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, FinOps, platform engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of cloud cost drivers, billing models, usage patterns, and optimization strategies.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Experience evaluating and implementing cloud commitment models (Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, or equivalents).
• Experience working with cost optimization vendors or managed FinOps platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve cost allocation standards (tagging, labeling, account structure) across cloud environments.
• Embed cost insight into platform provisioning workflows and templates.
• Lead the integration and ongoing development of cloud cost platforms and automation tools.
• Build cost dashboards, alerts, budgets, and reporting pipelines for engineering and stakeholders.
• Define and implement patterns for integrating cost controls into IaC and CI/CD workflows.
• Mentor engineers and help teams incorporate cloud economics into architecture and engineering decisions.
