Virtasant is seeking a senior Cloud Cost Optimization Program Manager (FinOps) to lead a large-scale cloud optimization program for a Fortune 50 technology organization. You will engage with CSP partners and engineering teams to identify savings, drive initiatives, and establish scalable cost governance.

You will translate cloud spend data into actionable initiatives, influence engineering teams to deliver measurable outcomes, and own the cost governance cadence across the organization.

Formación

• Proven FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or cloud financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or GCP pricing, billing, usage, and optimization concepts.
• Experience driving measurable cloud cost optimization initiatives with engineering teams.
• Technical Program Management across complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience partnering with CSPs and managing CSP-related cost initiatives.
• Ability to work with cost/usage data, with SQL, scripting, data pipelines, or data modeling knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Identify cloud savings opportunities with CSP partners and engineering teams.
• Build and manage a pipeline of cost-reduction initiatives across compute, storage, networking, and platform services.
• Scope, prioritize, and track initiatives like rightsizing, commitment optimization, and workload migrations.
• Monitor spend, forecasts, and anomalies; identify risks and improvements.
• Produce financial analyses, forecasts, and savings reports for leadership.
• Translate technical data into clear recommendations and narratives.
• Own recurring cloud cost governance and reporting cadences.
• Improve tagging, forecasting, cost allocation, and savings tracking processes.
