Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to lead advanced cloud financial management across its cloud portfolio. You will partner with Finance, Cloud, Engineering, and Procurement to optimize spend, improve forecasting, and drive cost transparency.

You will develop executive-ready insights, dashboards, and governance processes, ensuring measurable savings and alignment with business objectives across multiple divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience in Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline; OR Master’s Degree with 7 years of experience; OR PhD with 3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated senior-level experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, cloud economics, technology finance, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of cloud services, consumption models, cost drivers, commitment-based pricing, allocation methods, tagging strategies, optimization practices, and the financial levers that influence cloud spend.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with senior Finance, Cloud, Engineering, Architecture, Procurement, BTS, and business stakeholders to understand cloud consumption drivers and optimize FinOps practices.
• Lead complex analysis of cloud spend, usage, and demand trends to identify savings opportunities and develop executive-ready insights.
• Establish and govern FinOps processes including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and savings tracking.
