Job summary

Curate Partners is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to support a cloud cost reporting and optimization initiative for a large enterprise. You will independently assess cloud spend, identify cost drivers, and translate data into actionable insights for leadership.

You will help develop standardized reporting frameworks, KPIs, and allocation methodologies to improve transparency and proactive cost management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Ability to design cost reports, dashboards and KPI frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills and experience analyzing complex cost datasets.
• Experience with cloud cost allocation and chargeback/showback methodologies.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud and platform cost data to identify trends, spend drivers, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
• Provide independent assessments of cloud spend and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Develop and standardize cost reporting structures and dashboards.
• Define and track KPIs related to cloud cost, utilization, efficiency, and optimization.
• Support cost allocation and attribution methodologies.
• Use SQL to analyze large cost datasets and generate meaningful insights.
• Improve consistency and clarity of cost reporting across teams.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to explain cost drivers and support data-driven decisions.
• Help establish repeatable FinOps processes to reduce ad hoc cost analysis.
