Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a seasoned Cloud Engineer to deliver mission-critical cloud platforms for federal missions. You will design, implement, and optimize workloads across AWS and Azure, ensuring cost efficiency and security.

Role includes working with Kubernetes, DevOps tooling, and scripting to automate deployments, monitor systems, and resolve issues in DoD-compliant environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters (TKG, Konvoy).
• 5+ years DevOps: configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), app deployment, security, IaC (Terraform).
• 5+ years in cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure).
• 5+ years Windows Server and/or Linux Sys Admin experience.
• 3+ years with identity management tools (Active Directory, KeyCloak, AWS IAM).
• 3+ years deploying and maintaining containerized apps (Jira, Confluence, Mattermost, GitLab).
• 3+ years PowerShell and/or Bash scripting.
• General Networking principles understanding.
• 5+ years with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• DoD 8570 Compliant with IAT Level II (Security+).

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems and environments.
• Support cloud systems day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
• Collaborate with support teams on workload management, patch management, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
• Optimize cloud system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis and planning.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
• Support deployment of applications across multiple classification levels.
• Support requirements to capabilities analysis and implementation.
