Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure cloud-based systems for U.S. government missions. You will work with AWS, IaC, CI/CD, and automation to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Active Top-Secret clearance preferred with SCI eligibility; you will collaborate with security teams and apply standards like NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, and FedRAMP.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in DevOps engineering or cloud platform engineering.
• 3 years of experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) or CentOS administration.
• 3 years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or similar) and CLI.
• 3 years of experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g.: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• 2 years of experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, or networking configurations.
• 2 years of experience with Bash, Python, or other scripting and automation technologies.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Sec+, CISSP, CASP, etc.) or DoD 8140 equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud-based systems with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build, deploy, and troubleshoot cloud-native applications in AWS environments.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Create automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Ensure compliance with security/regulatory requirements (NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, FedRAMP).
• Collaborate with cyber security teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services.
• Work with cloud-native tools to enhance capabilities and secure the platform.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the stack.
