Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a seasoned DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical platforms across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. You will optimize automation, drive secure operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable deployments across multiple classification levels.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, plus DoD 8570 IAT II certification. A Bachelor’s in a technical field or equivalent experience is expected; Secret clearance

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters (e.g., TKG, Konvoy).
• 5+ years DevOps experience: config mgmt, IaC (Terraform), app deployment, security practices.
• 5+ years cloud experience (AWS, Azure).
• 5+ years Windows Server and/or Linux admin.
• 3+ years identity management tools (AD, Keycloak, AWS IAM).
• 3+ years deploying containerized apps (Jira, Confluence, Mattermost, GitLab).
• 3+ years PowerShell/Bash scripting.
• Strong networking fundamentals and RHEL experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+).
• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Cloud/Systems Engineering in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud-based and on-prem DevOps environments.
• Provide day-to-day operational support, monitoring, and problem resolution for compute, storage, networking, and platform components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on workload management, patching, AD administration, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
• Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and performance via automation and capacity planning.
• Deliver clear analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalations and service requests.
• Support application deployment across multiple classification levels.
• Contribute to requirements analysis, capability development, and implementation planning.
