Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to architect, deploy, and sustain secure cloud and on-premise systems for federal clients in a hybrid environment. You will drive secure baselines, continuous monitoring, and cost-aware operations across AWS and related platforms.

The role requires multi-year experience in security engineering with federal compliance exposure, strong incident response skills, and the ability to advise leadership on risk and remediation strategies.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in system administration, database administration, network engineering, software engineering, or software development with a concentration in Cyber Security; or 5 years with a related degree.

Responsibilities

• Architect, engineer, deploy, and sustain secure, resilient cloud/hybrid-cloud/on-premise applications and systems.
• Develop and maintain secure baselines and documentation for cloud/on-premise environments.
• Monitor logging, performance, security, and incident response across environments.
• Manage cloud expenditures and provide cost-optimization recommendations.
• Support audits and knowledge-transfer to sustain security posture.
