Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical platforms in AWS, Azure and hybrid environments. You will optimize deployments, automate operations, and ensure secure performance for federal workloads.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage Kubernetes clusters, and drive capacity planning across classification levels. DoD 8570 IAT II certs and strong scripting are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters (e.g., TKG, Konvoy).
• 5+ years of DevOps experience including configuration management and IaC.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or other major cloud providers.
• 5+ years of Windows Server and/or Linux system administration.
• 3+ years with identity management tools (AD, Keycloak, AWS IAM).
• 3+ years deploying and maintaining containerized applications.
• 3+ years PowerShell and/or Bash scripting.
• Strong understanding of core networking principles.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud-based and on-prem DevOps environments.
• Provide day-to-day operational support, monitoring, and problem resolution across compute, storage, networking, and platform components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on workload management, patching, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization through automation and capacity planning.
• Deliver analysis and feedback to management for escalated issues and requests.
• Support application deployment across multiple classification levels.
• Contribute to requirements analysis, capability development, and implementation planning.
