Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own infrastructure design decisions for mission-critical cloud environments. You will set IaC standards and guide compute, storage, and networking at enterprise scale, mentoring engineers along the way.

Requirements include 5–6+ years in cloud engineering, hands-on IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible), Docker/Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, and DoD 8140 compliance (Security+, CISSP, CASP or equivalent).

Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of cloud engineering or infra experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and containerization.
• At least 2 years mentoring or providing technical leadership to other engineers.
• DoD 8140 compliance (Security+, CISSP, CASP, or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure design and architecture for mission-critical workloads.
• IaC standards and technical direction for IaC practices.
• Disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity design.
• Security control implementation, STIG compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
• Root-cause resolution for complex infra incidents.
• Mentorship of mid-level and junior engineers.
