Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ to design, build, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. You will migrate mission-critical applications from on-prem to the cloud and drive IaC with Terraform, containerized environments via Kubernetes, and robust CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes security, compliance (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC), monitoring, and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Cloud Engineering or related roles.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC or similar frameworks.
• Ability to complete background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure on AWS.
• Migrate apps and data from on-prem to the cloud.
• Maintain IaC with Terraform.
• Implement monitoring and observability tooling.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
