Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer to design and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, with strong Kubernetes experience and IaC expertise. You will support migrations, implement secure cryptographic controls, and integrate with CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable platforms.

You will work with Security and Compliance teams to ensure audits and regulatory requirements are met while maintaining high availability and incident readiness across production systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS experience with EC2/EKS/RDS/S3/IAM/VPC/KMS.
• Strong Kubernetes experience, preferably AWS EKS.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC practices.
• CI/CD pipelines and mature DevOps processes.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure per PCI-DSS/SOC 2/FFIEC.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
• Support cloud migrations from on-prem to AWS.
• Maintain IaC with Terraform and automate deployments.
• Operate containerized apps with Kubernetes/Docker and CI/CD.
• Implement monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/Splunk.
• Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Lead on-call rotations and incident response.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, and business teams.
