SAIC is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP. The role focuses on building scalable, secure cloud solutions that support the organization's objectives.

Responsibilities include deploying cloud infrastructure, implementing IaC, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cost optimization while collaborating with DevOps, security, and development teams. A Public Trust eligibility is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; 4 years experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of related cloud engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong networking knowledge: VPC, DNS, load balancing, firewalls.
• Scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Security best practices in cloud environments.
• Database services: RDS, DynamoDB, Cloud SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop cloud architecture strategies aligned with business goals.
• Automate provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Monitor cloud systems for performance, availability, and security.
• Manage cloud costs and optimize resource utilization.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
• Maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services.
