Job summary

ACES Quality Management in the United States is seeking a reliable Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. You will work with a skilled team to enable high availability across AWS and Azure, implement IaC and automation, and support migrations from legacy data centers.

Qualifications

• Experience with a scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to configuration management or IaC systems (Puppet, Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid server administration skills (Windows or Linux).
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC/VNet design, routing, load balancing, DNS, secure connectivity).
• Experience supporting databases in the cloud (SQL Server, managed DB services, backup/restore, high availability).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Support development, test and production environments including after-hours support and release management.
• Monitor system performance, availability, cost, and reliability; proactively resolve issues.
• Design, implement, maintain, and support cloud-based infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using IaC and scripting tools.
• Migrate customer data from legacy data centers to cloud environments.
• Support IT compliance and security requirements including auditing, logging, access controls.
