Job summary

The Senior Database Administrator will design, optimize, and maintain large-scale databases, both on-premise and in the cloud, and help drive data security and compliance initiatives.

You will work with the Architecture and Infra teams to implement standards, monitor performance, and address incidents within SLA. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are common for this role.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL Server design, tuning, and security.
• Experience with cloud-based databases in Azure (Managed Instance, Hyperscale, SQL DB).
• Hands-on with large multi-terabyte databases and ETL tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain database objects across on-premise and cloud databases.
• Optimize queries and procedures for OLTP/OLAP workloads.
• Lead investigation and resolution of database incidents and implement monitoring.
