Job summary

Lyric seeks a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-native data platforms powering real-time analytics and BI. You will work with AWS services (Aurora, RDS, S3) and Snowflake, focusing on performance, cost efficiency, and secure data access across teams.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with data, analytics, and product squads, and contribute to IaC and CI/CD practices while supporting on-call rotations and incident response.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of cloud-based data infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on with AWS data services (Aurora, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, Glue, Athena).
• Proficient in SQL; scripting in Python or Shell.
• Terraform and GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience optimizing high-throughput databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure on AWS (Aurora/PostgreSQL, RDS, S3, Snowflake).
• Implement core data systems across ingestion, transformation, storage, and orchestration.
• Ensure reliability, performance, availability, and cost efficiency of data platforms.
• Promote best practices in data modeling, IaC, and CI/CD automation.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
