Job summary

Programmers.io in Dallas is seeking an experienced Snowflake Platform Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and automate enterprise-scale Snowflake environments using Terraform-based automation and IaC.

You will own RBAC, network security, warehouse lifecycle, CI/CD-driven deployments, and cost optimisation while partnering with Data Engineering, Security, and Operations to deliver a resilient, governance-driven platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and operating large-scale Snowflake environments.
• Strong knowledge of RBAC, security controls, and governance policies.
• Proven track record in building automated Snowflake provisioning with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale Snowflake environments.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for Snowflake infra provisioning.
• Design CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments and integrate with major CI systems.
• Automate change management, validation, testing, and release processes.
• Monitor, optimise, and secure Snowflake performance and costs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Security, Architecture, and Operations.
