Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead modernization of the Investment Management data warehouse from on-premises SQL Server to a cloud-native Google Cloud Platform solution, with BigQuery at the core. You will guide data pipelines, analytics, and AI-enabled access to support business transformation.
The role requires 10+ years in data/tech leadership, strong GCP expertise, and proven experience delivering large-scale data warehouse modernization programs.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related technology leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on or leadership experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery architecture, data modeling, performance tuning, cost optimization, and security.
- Proven experience leading large-scale data warehouse modernization or cloud migration programs.
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture patterns and governance.
- Programming foundation in Python with data engineering, automation, APIs or AI/ML workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead migration strategy to modernize Investment Management data warehouse to cloud-native platform.
- Modernize data pipelines and reporting capabilities for governed analytics.
- Enable analytics through Looker and AI-enabled data access using Vertex AI.
- Manage technical teams and deliver across complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
