Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead a strategic modernization of its Investment Management data platform. The role focuses on migrating a legacy on‑premises SQL Server warehouse to a scalable cloud‑native architecture on Google Cloud, using BigQuery as a core warehouse capability.

The position requires a senior leader with 10+ years in data/analytics roles, strong Python and cloud data engineering skills, and hands‑on or leadership experience across enterprise data programs.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering or related leadership roles.
Proven leadership of large-scale cloud data modernization programs.
Strong Python development and data engineering capabilities.
Experience with Looker, Vertex AI, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

Lead migration strategy for modernizing an on-prem SQL Server data warehouse to a cloud-native platform on Google Cloud.
Model, build and optimize data pipelines and analytics capabilities with governance and scalability.
Drive adoption of governed analytics using Looker and enable AI-powered data access via Vertex AI.
Lead cross-functional engineering teams and communicate with senior stakeholders.
