Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Senior Technical Manager to lead a modernization of the Investment Management Data Warehouse from on-premises SQL Server to a scalable cloud-native platform on Google Cloud, with BigQuery as a core warehouse.

You will drive strategy, modernize pipelines, and enable governed analytics with Looker and AI-enabled data access using Vertex AI, while mentoring engineers and ensuring security and resilience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering or related leadership roles.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery architecture, data modeling, security.
• Proven track record in large-scale data warehouse modernization or cloud migrations.
• Knowledge of modern data architectures: data lakes, medallion patterns, ETL/ELT, governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization of Investment Management Data Warehouse to a cloud-native platform on GCP.
• Drive migration strategy, data pipelines, and reporting capabilities.
• Enable governed analytics via Looker and AI-powered data access using Vertex AI.
• Manage technical teams and deliver programs across multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure cloud security, privacy, and operational resilience.
