Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead a strategic modernization of our Investment Management Data Warehouse from on-prem SQL Server to a scalable, cloud-native data and analytics platform on Google Cloud Platform with BigQuery at the core.
This leadership role combines cloud data engineering, analytics modernization, AI enablement, and business transformation to drive governance, scalable data pipelines, and enterprise insights through Looker and Vertex AI.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in data/analytics leadership roles.
- Hands-on or leadership with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, data modeling, performance, security).
- Experience modernizing on-prem data warehouses or cloud migrations (SQL Server, Oracle).
- Knowledge of ELT/ETL, data governance, metadata, lineage.
- Strong Python background for data engineering and AI workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead migration of Investment Management Data Warehouse to cloud-native platform.
- Modernize data pipelines and reporting capabilities.
- Enable governed analytics with Looker.
- Support AI-enabled analytics with Vertex AI.
