Delta Dental of California is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to own end-to-end architecture for multi-domain payer programs, focusing on core systems and modern AI-enabled platforms. You will shape reusable patterns, govern designs, and mentor teams across cloud-native, event-driven, and AI initiatives.

The role bridges traditional core processing with Generative AI, scalable microservices, and modern cloud platforms, driving digital transformation and cross-domain delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Solution/Enterprise Architecture in healthcare payer or large software delivery.
• Deep experience with core administration platforms (e.g., MetaVance).
• End-to-end enterprise-scale delivery ownership from discovery to rollout.
• Experience with cloud-native, microservices, Azure messaging patterns, APIs.
• Experience translating designs into API contracts, IaC, integration specs.
• AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI using Azure AI Services.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, and Responsible AI frameworks.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools as part of lifecycle.
• Nice-to-have: Agile delivery within active teams; healthcare standards like FHIR/HL7.
• Proficient with IaC (Terraform/Bicep) and CI/CD patterns.

• Defines reusable architecture blueprints and accelerators.
• Participates in Architecture Governance and ARB discussions.
• Drives cloud-native, event-driven, API-first, and Generative AI capabilities.
• Mentors architects, tech leads, and engineering teams on design and AI adoption.
