Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Practice Customer Engineer (Data Analytics) to accelerate adoption of complex workloads and craft data foundation architectures with MVPs for customers. You will partner with technical sales to differentiate Google Cloud and translate customer needs into practical, scalable analytics solutions.

You will collaborate with Platform CEs and engineering teams to stay ahead of industry trends, present at executive levels, and deliver compelling demos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with Big Data technologies or concepts (analytics warehousing, data processing, data transformation, data governance, data migrations, ETL, ELT, SQL, Spark, performance or scalability improvements).
• Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
• Experience using programming languages (e.g., Python, Spark, SQL) to demo, prototype, or workshop with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical win for complex Data Analytics workloads, supporting the sales cycle from use case to technical evaluation and customer ramp.
• Provide functional, customer-tailored solutions combining sales strategy with prototyping and development.
• Offer deep technical consultation and build lasting customer relationships.
• Create reusable solutions and assets with the Go-To-Market team from customer learnings.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering to improve architectures and document feature requests.
