Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Principal Architect, EDT Data & Analytics, to own the enterprise data & analytics platform on Azure. You will drive DevOps, IaC, security, and reliability for global teams from a remote location in the United States.

You will work across Databricks, Synapse, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Key Vault, and Unity Catalog, implementing automated, secure, scalable data solutions while collaborating with Data Platform and Data Product teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
8+ years in cloud engineering or data platforms.
4+ years in platform security in enterprise environments.
Hands-on architecture and engineering of enterprise data platforms and pipelines.
Experience with the Azure data stack (Databricks, Synapse, ADLS Gen2, SQL, Data Factory, Key Vault, Unity Catalog) and Power BI.
Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Terraform.
Experience with data security, privacy, and access controls in regulated environments.
Ability to influence technical design decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and operate Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines across environments.
Implement and manage IaC using Terraform for consistent provisioning.
Manage platform security with RBAC and access controls across Azure services.
Operate platform with an SRE mindset, including monitoring and incident management.
Collaborate with Data Platform teams to deploy scalable enterprise data solutions.
Engage stakeholders to understand data needs and priorities.
Evaluate and manage relationships with external data and analytics vendors.
