Job summary

Stryker Corporation in the United States is seeking a Principal Architect for the EDT Data Platform Engineering to translate enterprise data architecture into scalable Azure/Databricks Lakehouse solutions. You will partner with delivery teams, data stewards, and business stakeholders to build governed data pipelines and analytics-ready models.

Responsibilities include designing Bronze-to-Silver transformations with quality checks, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, IaC automation, and aligning models

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IS or equivalent.
• 8+ years in data engineering, warehousing, and analytics on Azure/Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Strong PySpark/Python and SQL skills for batch and streaming pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, and cloud automation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership.

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise data architecture into scalable Azure/Databricks solutions.
• Build and maintain ingestion frameworks with data quality and contracts.
• Optimize batch and streaming pipelines for cost and performance.
• Own CI/CD and automate onboarding, repos, pipelines, and templates.
• Lead onboarding, design reviews, and create reusable assets.
• Enforce data governance with Unity Catalog and metadata policies.
