Job summary
Stryker is seeking a Principal Architect for EDT Data & Analytics to own the enterprise data & analytics platform on Azure. You will lead platform operations, IaC, security, and reliability to support global data teams.
Responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines, implementing Terraform for provisioning, enforcing security best practices, and maintaining platform availability with an SRE mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years in cloud engineering or enterprise data platforms.
- 4+ years securing data services in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on architecture and engineering of data platforms and cloud solutions.
- Experience with Azure data stack and Power BI.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Experience IaC with Terraform for provisioning.
- Experience operating enterprise cloud data platforms and reliability.
- Ability to influence architectural decisions and drive remediation.
- Experience with data security, privacy, and access controls (GxP, HIPAA, PII/PHI).
- Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Own platform operations, DevOps automation, and IaC across Azure stack.
- Design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines across environments.
- Manage platform security, RBAC and access controls across services.
- Operate platform with an SRE mindset: monitoring, incidents, tuning.
- Optimize data pipelines, runtimes, and integration runtimes for SLAs.
- Partner with Data Platform and Data Product teams on scalable solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to align data needs and priorities.
- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships for data analytics.
