Job summary

Armanino LLP is seeking a Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer to architect and operate cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Fabric, Databricks) and own BI delivery (Power BI/Tableau). You will set platform standards, build CI/CD pipelines, and lead governance, security, and reliability across production workloads.

You will work independently, make architecture calls, and drive improvements in performance, scalability, and cost management while collaborating with engineering and client teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in data engineering, platform engineering, analytics engineering, or cloud operations with production ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own design and day-to-day operation of cloud data platforms across workspace architecture, access models, capacity, and troubleshooting.
• Define and enforce platform standards including naming/tagging, access, and cost management.
• Design, build, and own CI/CD workflows for data assets, including documentation and promotion paths.
• Lead cross-functional platform leadership for Fabric/Snowflake/Databricks and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Own reliability: monitoring, SLOs, incident response, runbooks, and governance.
