Job summary

Armanino is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to architect, operate, and continually improve cloud data and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Fabric, and Databricks. You will own CI/CD, environment design, security, and governance, and drive production reliability.

You will lead platform maturity initiatives, collaborate with engineering and client teams, and ensure scalable, governed data delivery with Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering, platform engineering, analytics engineering, or cloud operations with production ownership.
• Minimum 2 years of representative accounting experience in accounting systems or roles.
• Deep production-grade command of cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Fabric, or Databricks with fluency in others.
• Strong command of BI platforms: Power BI or Tableau, incl. data modeling and security.
• CI/CD ownership: Git, branching, PR discipline, and pipelines beyond basic execution.

Responsibilities

• Platform Architecture & Operations: design and run cloud data platforms and enforce standards.
• DevOps & Deployment: design CI/CD pipelines, templates, and release docs for data assets.
• Data & Analytics Platform Leadership: serve as technical authority across Fabric/Snowflake/Databricks and BI tools.
• Reliability, Monitoring & Incident Response: design monitoring, runbooks, and lead post-incident reviews.
• Security & Governance: enforce least-privilege access and data governance across environments.
