Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Product Solutions Architect to drive cloud cost management adoption across customers and internal teams. You will design use cases, guide cost allocation, and develop scalable CCM assets including reference architectures and guides across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will collaborate with Field teams, FinOps, and product teams to translate customer insights into tangible cost-optimization strategies while ensuring alignment with business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing cloud cost management
• Strong ability to model and optimize cost across multi-cloud environments
• Proficiency with scripting or programming for data analysis (Python/SQL)
• Familiarity with tagging strategies and infrastructure-as-code practices

Responsibilities

• Serve as in-house SME for CCM across AWS/Azure/GCP and container cost allocation
• Provide architectural guidance on capacity planning and cost-performance trade-offs
• Guide tokenomics and AI cost attribution across providers
• Monitor real-time AI spend and set up cost anomaly monitoring
• Create high-impact collateral and reference architectures for CCM adoption
• Advise Product Management with field-driven feedback on cost allocation roadmaps
