Job summary

Capgemini Invent seeks a FinOps-focused consultant to lead cost visibility, allocation, and optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will partner with engineering and finance to turn cloud spend into a measurable business lever, landing sustainable savings.

You will build dashboards and reports, develop tagging strategies, and coach junior team members while advancing FinOps maturity. Strong analytics, SQL, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in cloud cost management, IT finance, FP&A, or technology consulting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud billing and cost-management tools.
• Strong analytics using Excel, SQL, Power BI on large datasets.
• Knowledge of cloud pricing and commitment models.
• Excellent communication with technical and finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end FinOps activities: cost visibility, allocation, optimization, and forecasting.
• Analyze AWS, Azure, and GCP billing data to identify savings opportunities.
• Build cost dashboards and reporting for engineering, finance, and leadership.
• Develop tagging strategies and cost-allocation models.
• Optimize cloud spend using Savings Plans, RI, and discounts.
• Translate cost insights into actionable improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Coach junior team members and ensure high analytical quality.
