Job summary

FinOps Weekly seeks a Lead Analyst to drive cloud financial operations across enterprise data platforms. You will optimize AWS spend, develop budgeting and forecasting processes, and deliver dashboards that translate technical costs into actionable business insights.

You will partner with finance, procurement, and technology teams to close data gaps, improve cost controls, and scale cost management as the platform landscape grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IS, Analytics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Cloud FinOps experience or cloud spend management.
• Strong Excel skills for budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.
• Experience with AWS cost management, billing, or usage reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with finance, procurement and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide visibility into cloud and technology spending across enterprise data platforms.
• Manage budgets, expenses, forecasts, run rates, contracts and renewals.
• Analyze spend vs. budget and explain variances and drivers.
• Develop dashboards and financial models for cloud cost reporting.
• Support contract and license planning with renewal dates and commitments.
