Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to advise and lead technical design for key decision-makers, guiding customers' business strategies and maximizing Akamai products with a focus on AI and emerging technologies.

You will facilitate the design and implementation of Edge, Compute, and Security solutions; collaborate with data scientists, engineers, developers, and stakeholders; drive innovation by shaping product direction with PM and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• Proficient with scripting languages.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Technical consultant to customers and build strategic relationships.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating the design and implementation of Akamai Edge, Compute, and Security solutions, APIs, and architectures for advanced workloads.
• Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing performance of solutions.
• Leading innovation by advocating emerging trends, shaping product roadmaps and partnering with Product Management and R&D teams to develop future product direction and strategy.
• Providing technical thought leadership and guidance to educate peers on best practices and current technology trends.
• Identifying customer AI and enterprise workload opportunities with sales teams, ensuring success through Akamai cloud, delivery, and security adoption.
• Guiding customers in choosing the most suitable AI frameworks, tools and technologies for their needs.
• Establishing technical thought leadership in AI and cloud/edge computing to support Akamai's business growth strategies.
• Partnering with Product Management and Research & Development teams to develop future product direction and strategy.
