Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Telecommunications Engineer to drive a major migration from on-premises voice systems to cloud-based solutions, focusing on enterprise voice, contact center, and collaboration technologies.

You will design, configure, test, and execute migrations across multiple locations in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and carriers, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal business disruption.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with enterprise telecommunications, UC, or voice technologies.
Experience with Cisco UC Cloud Calling and/or Webex Cloud Calling.
Experience with Cisco Contact Center and/or Webex Contact Center.
Experience migrating legacy/on-premises telephony to cloud-based platforms.
Experience with Cisco Webex Control Hub.
Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, dial plans, call routing, number porting, and QoS.

Responsibilities

Lead migration of legacy/on-premises phone systems to Cisco and/or Webex cloud calling solutions.
Deploy and support Cisco UC Cloud Calling and/or Webex Cloud Calling.
Implement and support Cisco Contact Center and/or Webex Contact Center solutions (cloud and on-prem).
Support Cisco AI Assistant for Webex Contact Center.
Gather requirements and translate into deployment plans.
Coordinate number porting, call routing, and cutovers.
Work with carriers and vendors to resolve issues.
Ensure sites are prepared for cloud voice migrations.
Troubleshoot voice, contact center, and collaboration issues during deployment.
Develop migration plans, runbooks, and cutover procedures.
