Job summary

The Cloud Architect at vTech Solution is a senior leadership role within the Judicial Branch Enterprise Architecture program, guiding cloud adoption and aligning business and IT strategies through hybrid cloud solutions. Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior management roles leading large-scale technology programs and projects.
• 7+ years leading enterprise program planning, forecasting, implementation, and resource management.
• Experience managing teams of architects, developers, analysts, and testers.
• 10+ years developing strategic technology roadmaps, standards, and governance frameworks.
• 7+ years of vendor management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud vendors and cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of public, private, managed, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud migrations and cloud solution architecture.
• Experience managing environments including on-premises datacenters, colocation facilities, hosted datacenters, SaaS platforms, and cloud datacenters.
• Strong systems analysis skills throughout the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based service delivery methodologies.
• Ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience developing enterprise technology policies.
• Strong communication skills with both technical teams and executive leadership.
• Public-sector experience preferred, especially California state government experience.

• Develop and maintain relationships with courts, stakeholders, and technology partners to drive cloud adoption.
• Manage a portfolio of branch-wide cloud projects and associated contracts.
• Ensure compliance with Enterprise Technical Architecture standards and policies.
• Participate in governance, project, and technical meetings across Judicial Council organizations.
• Coordinate issue resolution among Judicial Council teams, courts, and vendors.
• Support RFP development and vendor selection activities.
• Oversee procurement and contract administration activities.
• Serve as advisor on business and technical infrastructure alignment.
• Develop cloud program plans, roadmaps, schedules, and governance mechanisms.
• Monitor project execution and provide executive-level status reporting.
