Job summary

SMX in Washington, DC seeks Cloud Subject Matter Experts (Junior/Mid/Senior) to support secure, scalable multi‑cloud infrastructure for Air Force missions. You will collaborate with government personnel, project managers, engineers, security professionals, and DoD stakeholders to define architecture standards and communicate options.

Responsibilities include leading migration of applications to Cloud One, evaluating native, hybrid and multi‑cloud solutions, and guiding cloud governance, ATO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification plus 4+ years cloud experience.
• Active Security Clearance: Secret.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale cloud integrations.
• Ability to articulate complex problems clearly.
• Familiarity with cloud governance tools and ATO processes.
• Understanding of RMF/NIST 800-53/STIGs and cloud security principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment, design, and execution of moving applications to the Cloud One platform with security compliance.
• Demonstrate technical cloud expertise across hybrid, native, multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
• Provide customer support from market research to high-level design considerations.
• Conduct cloud analysis research, product building, presentations and delivery with leadership.
• Identify best-in-breed cloud solutions for governance and policy-making.
• Build and analyze use cases and high-level reference architectures.
• Lead technical discussions in customer, partner engagements and leadership meetings.
