Job summary

StratusGrid is building Stratusphere, a multi-agent platform for cloud optimization. We seek a versatile software engineer to help build the core software platform, backend infrastructure, and agents/tools that discover, contextualize, plan, and execute work for customers.

You will collaborate with customer success, human-in-the-loop teams, and customers to rapidly test and mature autonomous solutions, solving complex cloud cost inefficiencies and building web interfaces for customers.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in at least one language (preferably TypeScript) and ability to oversee agentic delivery in other languages.
• Skilled in architecting services with layered testing to enforce quality and maintainability.
• Frontend contributions to NextJS/React applications is desirable.
• Familiar with coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI) for rapid planning and testing.
• Experience with large datasets in relational (Postgres) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.

Responsibilities

• Actively develop and oversee AI agent-driven solutions across the Stratusphere platform.
• Scrutinize agent-driven plans and code for scalability, maintainability, and safety.
• Collaborate with product and customer teams to design and evolve the platform.
• Improve agent architecture, tooling, and prompts to reduce errors and gaps in context.
