Job summary

Natera is seeking a Software Engineer III to build AI-powered transformations across clinical, commercial, and operational domains. You will implement serverless patterns, orchestrate AI pipelines, and develop dashboards with React/Next.js, GraphQL, and Kafka integrations, collaborating in a small autonomous squad.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production cloud services.
• Solid experience with AWS serverless architectures and Kafka.
• Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Next.js, and GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with AI orchestration, guardrails, data validation and RAG patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (CDK/Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Implement event-driven transformation workflows and service integrations with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, S3, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, and Fargate.
• Leverage cloud-based foundation-model APIs to build AI transformation pipelines and RAG patterns.
• Develop internal tooling and dashboards with React/Next.js backed by GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate with Kafka streams to exchange messages with domain microservices.
• Contribute to AI-focused testing and observability through CI/CD.
